We’re getting this question a lot lately: What’s the difference between OneReach.ai and GPT-4?

OneReach.ai uses OpenAI’s GPT-4 to help create an optimal conversational interface that allows customers to achieve a state of hyperautomation. GPT-4 is a great solution to the generative AI challenge, but it’s only one piece of the hyperautomation puzzle. Because our platform is open, flexible, and configurable, it’s been easy for our users to orchestrate automations using GPT-4. At some point, we might choose to bring generative AI in-house, but only if it makes sense.

When Tesla started working on self-driving cars, they used a technology called MobileEye to handle the automobile’s vision capabilities. Tesla has since taken over those capabilities in-house, but that’s an aside. If you wanted to buy a self driving car you would seek out Tesla, not MobileEye. If you want to create an ecosystem that functions as a digital twin of your organization—an ecosystem where intelligent digital workers are routinely automating complex tasks—you wouldn’t turn to OpenAI, you’d look to OneReach.ai.

Another question we frequently field: Why OneReach.ai and not Google, AWS, IBM or Microsoft?

The answer: all of these much larger companies make their own components and those components are not best-in-class. None of these companies built their individual tech stacks—like text-to-speech capabilities, for instance. These giants bought their tech stacks in a fevered effort to make more money and compete with the other titans. They bought the technology as solutions were still emerging, placing early bets on which would be the best long-term. They were wrong in almost every case. There’s no isolated reason for these failures, but it’s entirely possible that the acquisition and integration of products into their environment killed the innovation percolating in these smaller organizations. The biggest problem for customers, however, is that their ability to create custom automations is limited by a closed system of tools and functionalities.

OneReach.ai takes a much different approach to technology and innovation. We believe that optionality is the key to handling complex automations. Achieving a state of hyperautomation requires flexibility above all else. When you’re creating and evolving automations on a daily basis, it’s paramount that you can access best-in-class solutions to the various technological challenges that will arise. As with the GPT-4 example above, our platform makes it easy to integrate this existing technology, update it when the next GPT arrives, and keep solutions current when (in this example) another generative AI solution comes to dominate the marketplace.

The OneReach.ai platform is open and flexible. Our customers are able to choose from all the various solutions available in this crowded marketplace.
